A leading company operating in the food processing industry and majoring in the
production of high end quality cereals, oats, biscuits, vegetarian products and honey, is
looking for a competent and experienced individual to join the team. Applications are

company.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer
Location: Harare
Job Type: Contract
Job Summary:
As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that products, services
or processes meet quality or regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure products meet established quality standards and industry benchmarks.
2. Develop product quality assurance policies and procedures
3. Ensure the product design meets customer requirements and industry standards
4. Develop, monitor, and enforce quality control and assurance protocols
5. Conduct root cause analysis for product defects and recommend corrective actions
6. Monitor and report on product performance
7. Evaluate product design and manufacturing processes
8. Identify and implement process improvements
9. Verify product quality and compliance with standards
10. Develop and maintain product documentation
11. Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements: Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
3 years of proven experience as a quality assurance officer.
Strong knowledge of quality management principles, regulations and standards
Food industry knowledge is a requirement
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Palladium.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well both independently and within a team.
Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry/ Food Science and Technology.
Certificate in quality management.
Experience in international quality standards such as ISO 9001.
Driver’s licence an added advantage.
