Position: PROJECTS MANAGER
The incumbent will have the following key responsibilities;
- Coordinates with management to develop a sales strategy and budgets by product line
- Interacts with projects sales team to develop sales plans and tactics to meet business goals.
- Laisse with production and warehouse on products available
- Research on market, industry, competitors, and customers
- Identify relevant stakeholders that can help you achieve your goals.
- Look for new trends emerging in the market and think of ways business can benefit from them.
- Identify sales opportunities & threats in the market
- Identify and develop new markets both local and regional.
- Set up and document the order process for new customers.
- Co-ordinate the ordered products and monitor if delivered in a timely manner
- Participate during on-site meetings with big customer
- Visit customers on their sites and get their feedback.
- Function as the main contact person and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with high volume clients to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives
- Engage third parties on product distribution country wide
- Gather and analyze information about customers so as to understand customer motivations, beliefs, intentions, preferences, and perceptions.
- Interact with customers informally to learn how to serve their needs
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience, preferably in the retail industry.
- MBA &Degree in Sales & Marketing or the equivalent.
- Successful track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets.
- Must be inventive and resourceful.
- Ability to work autonomously and run day to day branch operations with minimum supervision.
- Strong sales and marketing background.
• Strong presentation skills and relationship building skills.
