KEY RESULT AREAS
- OPERATIONAL PLANNING
- Read and understand project documents such as proposals, log frames, project Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Budget.
- Prepare Individual Operating Plan (IOP) in line with project Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Support in the development of District level project implementation plan and activities with the guidance of the Programs Co-Ordinator, Project Specialists, Field Coordinator for planning weekly project activities at community and school level.
- In coordination with the Programs Coordinator and in line with Donor requirements, prepare a costed project activity implementation plan.
- Request resources (such as fuel and stationery) to carry out field activities and submit to Programs Coordinator.
2. IMPLEMENTATION
- Implement integrated project activities (orientations, sensitisations, trainings, engagements, coaching and mentoring) as per the agreed project workplan in the areas of Adolescent leadership skills building, project management, participatory research, and Economic Empowerment.
- Facilitate establishment of school project management clubs.
- Lead the role out of an updated ADM/project management model through adolescent led leadership camps, G&C sessions, and school Economic empowerment projects.
- Provide Project management capacity building to structures working with the project, such as G&C teachers, School heads, DRTs and District and Provincial Education Officials and CARE staff.
- Facilitate funding of viable income generating activities proposed by school project management clubs.
3. MONITORING AND EVALUATION
- Support development of adolescent led participatory project learning agenda.
- Conduct regular monitoring of school project management club activities.
- Facilitate participatory research on linkage of project management activities with adolescent’s enrollment, attendance, and transition.
- Conduct project baseline, longitudinal and endline assessments.
4. PROJECT REPORTING & COORDINATION.
- Participate in data collection, compilation of activity, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports (Narrative reports, Success Stories) and share with Programs Coordinator.
- Establish and maintain relevant cluster and district level relationship with key stakeholders (e.g., MoPSE, Women Affairs, DSD) in furtherance of his/her work in close collaboration with the Field Coordinator.
- Represent the project at community and school level in stakeholder meetings.
- Continuously track exposure of adolescents to different project interventions/activities and manage a database of participants.
5.SAFEGUADING

- Ensure that IASC core principles and Safeguarding standards are met and maintained accordingly during project planning and implementation.
- Report and record cases of suspected SHEA to the Field Coordinator/ Team Leader and or relevant stakeholders and ensure safeguarding information is disseminated to the relevant stakeholders.
- Ensures application of a gender equality and social inclusion lens in all program activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Development Studies, or Policy Studies.
- 2 to 3 years programming experience in education, gender, community, and youth economic development projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
