Our client, a start up in the construction and development industry is looking for a dynamic individual to join their team.
The Job Involves
- Developing the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Liaising with the development manager and construction teams to ensure the work they deliver is in-line with their outlined deliverables.
- Ensure that the project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track project progress.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, scheduling and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.\
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
Person Specification, Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor´s degree in Development, Project Management or any other related field.
- Minimum of 3 years´ experience as a Project Manager in the Development sector.
- Project Management Certification is an added advantage.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in property development.
- Knowledge of fundamental project management processes, methodologies, tools and techniques and ability to adapt them to the organisation.
- Understanding of formal and informal organisational structures.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other Project Management tools.
- Ability to adapt and deal with situations and manage stakeholder expectations through ongoing change.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
