Zimbabwe Health Interventions (ZHI) is a not-for-profit human development organisation which is registered as a Private Voluntary Organisation (PVO 17/22). ZHI’s mission is to develop and deliver innovative and sustainable high-impact, integrated health interventions to the communities we serve, while working with and strengthening existing institutions.

Basic Function
Under the supervision of Program Officer, the Programs Intern primary role will be to support with office duties,
Manning the ZHI front office desk,
Perform administrative and routine office tasks, including assisting with organizing and managing files,
Scheduling meetings and appointments, and
Supporting other staff with organizational tasks.

Job Description
Works closely with the Program Officer to ensure smooth operation of all administrative matters;
Manns the front office and receive visitors;
Answers calls and directs to respective staff members;
Assists with minute taking during weekly and all staff meetings adhoc meetings and tracking of action points;
Assist with the Prepares for meetings and manage board room bookings;
Liaises with the Admin department for corporate procurements;
Checks for comments and questions that are posted on ZHI website and social media – create a list of comments twice a week and tracks if the responsible persons have responded adequately to the question/queries;
Supports with editing and formatting of documents and communication materials;
Stand in for the Program Officer when unavailable working with the Executive Director and SMT;
Any other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Basic knowledge of general office practices, procurement, maintenance and administrative procedures;
Resourceful in gathering and providing information;
Excellent written, oral, interpersonal and organization skills;
Ability to work well with others;
Must have organizational, analytical and troubleshooting skills as well as the ability to multi-task and to prioritize tasks;
Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft office products, Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Qualifications And Experience
A recent graduate of at least a diploma in front office management, customer relations, secretarial studies, or a related field;
Aminimum of one year of work-related learning experience;
