Action for Youth Foundation Trust is a registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that seeks to create a safe and conducive violent-free environment for Youths living with HIV, Orphans and Vulnerable Children and Youths in Key & Vulnerable Populations in Zimbabwe.
Action for Youth Foundation Trust is looking for a Programs Assistant who will be supporting the Programs Coordinator in implementing Action for Youth Foundation Trust’s projects activities in Mutare District assignment at voluntary basis.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assisting in conducting registration of recipients of care in the database.
- Assisting in conducting trainings with different recipients of care, religious leaders, stakeholders & caregivers.
- Data Entry & Capturing
- Activity and quarterly report writing and submission.
- Facilitating during community dialogues in Schools, Churches and Communities.
- Assisting in facilitating Stakeholder engagement.
- Attending the District Stakeholders Reports Meeting led by other partners.
- Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least a Diploma in Social Work, Development Studies, Sociology, Psychology or any other social science from a reputable institution is a must.
- At least attachment experience in a similar role.
- Good communication skills, able to adhere to our reporting timelines.
- Good work ethical standards.
- CPD Certificate in NGO Management, Project Management or M&E or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Recent graduates are the mostly preferred.
