Reports to: The Regional Co-ordinator
Action for Youth Foundation Trust is a registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that seeks to create a safe and conducive violent-free environment for Youths living with HIV, Orphans and Vulnerable Children and Youths in Key & Vulnerable Populations in Zimbabwe.
Action for Youth Foundation Trust is looking for a Programs Assistant who will be supporting the Regional Coordinator in implementing Action for Youth Foundation Trust’s projects activities at voluntary basis.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Providing administrative assistance to the team.
- Assisting in conducting training and capacity building meetings with Program Coordinators.
- Attending regional meetings.
- Assisting the Regional Coordinator in preparing workplans and budgets.
- Finance requests, program execution, and liquidation in accordance with the organization’s finance procedures and timelines.
- Assisting in facilitating Stakeholder engagement.
- Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least a Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Sociology, Psychology or any other social science is a must.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- CPD Certificate in NGO Management, Project Management or M&E or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Recent graduates are the most preferred.
