A leading company operating in the food processing industry and majoring in the
production of high end quality cereals, oats, biscuits, vegetarian products and honey, is
looking for a competent and experienced individual to join the team. Applications are

Job Summary:
As a Production Supervisor you will be responsible for the overall day to day running and
management of manufacturing operations in the business unit to ensure that customer
needs are met whilst ensuring the highest possible standards are maintained.
Responsibilities:
1. Developing efficient production schedules and ensuring that the production process is completed in a timely manner.
2. Forecasting production needs, monitoring costs and keeping track of the budget.
3. Ensuring that products meet quality control standards and resolving any issues that may arise during the production process.
4. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, including managing staff, equipment, and resources.
5. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase productivity, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
6. Reviewing safety procedures and ensuring that all safety regulations and guidelines are met.
7. Collaborating with other departments, such as engineering supply chain and marketing, to ensure product goals are met.
8. Maintaining records of inventory and production data.
9. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
10.Assist in training and evaluating team members
11.Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements: Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a production supervisor.
Track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
Food industry knowledge is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Palladium.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well both independently and within a team.
Ability to run a semi-automated factory and proven experience in managing employees on a shift basis
Bachelor’s degree in Production/ Operations Management, 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
