A well-established organization seeks an experienced Product Sales Representative to join their team
in Harare. In this role, you will take responsibility for developing and nurturing customer
relationships and provide technical support and application aspect information to promote sales for
parts and service sales. Applicants must have experience in Sales as well as at least 3 years as a
Diesel Plant Fitter.
Reporting Structure
Reporting To: Sales and Marketing Manager / Procurement Manager
Supervision Of: Marketing Team / Procurement Team
Interacts With: Clients / Colleagues / Supplies
Job Description
- Maintaining regular contact with customers
- Marketing machine parts and service
- Machine inspections and service
- Maintain customer relationships
- Find new clients
- Ascertain the needs of the customer and promote
- Demonstrate advanced technical functions to clients
- Increase sales and meet set targets
- Produce weekly reports
- Ascertain the needs of the customer and promote the brand
- Create and update management with competitors & market feedback
- Providing Management with feedback on sales strategies
- Sales Calls / Sales visits to prospective and current clients
- Advise clients on the advantages of the products
- Develop effective client relationships
- Negotiate orders and ensure they are followed through completely
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
- Experience 3 years plus
- Education Level Diploma Level
- Qualifications Qualified Diesel Plant Fitter and Sales/Marketing
- Diploma or equivalent
- Software ZOHO Books / Quickbooks / Trade Related
- Equipment BELL / CAT / JCB / VOLVO / SHANTUI / KOMATSU /
- Knowledge Of Plant and Equipment (Earth moving and lifting machines)
- Skills To Negotiates with Clients and Suppliers
- Ability To Communicate effectively and negotiate
- Other Requirements Must have valid state driver’s license
