Position: Procurement and Administration Assistant
A new position has arisen and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced
candidates to join our team within the organization.
Reporting to Procurement Officer
Key Result Areas:
PROCUREMENT
• Assisting in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for goods and services.
• Assist in monitoring and following up on order deliveries to ensure timely receipt.
• Assist maintaining organized records of procurement activities, including supplier contracts and
purchase orders.
• Assist in scheduling meetings and managing calendars for procurement staff.
• Assist Communicating with vendors to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing.
• Assist Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues that arise.
• Assist evaluating vendor performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain procurement records
ADMINISTRATION
• Assisting maintains a tidy and organized reception area.
• Answer and Direct Calls: Answer incoming calls, respond to queries, and direct calls to
relevant personnel.
• Handle Messages and Emails: forward emails to relevant departments and branches.
• Assist performing administrative tasks, such as data entry (fuel recon) and filing.
• Assist managing calendars, schedule appointments, and arrange meetings
Qualifications and Attributes:
• Bachelors’ degree in Business Management, supply chain management or any other related field.
• Relevant certification would be an added advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft packages (word, excel, PowerPoint)
• A minimum of 1 year experience in administrative roles and procurement roles
