Person Specification
The applicant should have a minimum of 5 “O” Levels including English language and Mathematics, a Diploma in any of the three Printing qualifications (Origination/Machine Minding/Print Finishing) and a Degree in any relevant Graphics qualifications. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage. The candidate should have a minimum of four years traceable working experience, should have a keen eye for detail to note colour discrepancies for particularly complex print jobs, an artistic flair and commitment to perfection, leadership and management skills to motivate staff and an understanding to basic printing protocols and proper troubleshooting skills. The candidate should have Clean Class 4 Drivers’ License
Duties
- Print production planning and resource allocation
- managing schedules, ensuring projects meet deadlines, and managing the overall operation
- giving approval of the final print job
- overseeing quality control for the final product after the first run
- Handling internal issues and printing problems that occur during the day
- Liaising and negotiating with customers to balance satisfaction with profitability
