Our growing neurosurgical practice in Harare is seeking a full-time practice manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities:
Managing and supervising the administrative staff, including receptionists, medical assistants, and other support staff.
Ensuring efficient billing and bookkeeping processes, including timely submission of insurance claims and patient billing statements.
Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new patients to the practice.
Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including tax compliance and HPC regulations.
Managing and coordinating patient appointments, schedules, and follow-up care.
Coordinating with external vendors and partners, such as laboratory services, imaging centers, and medical suppliers.
Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in medical office management, preferably in a neurosurgical practice.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Knowledge of medical billing and coding, insurance procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and medical practice management software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with physicians and staff.
