Plant Manager – Canned Foods || Let’s Trade Pvt Ltd

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily production to meet quality and quantity targets.
• Optimize production schedules and workflows for efficiency and minimal downtime.
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Ensure all products meet food safety, regulatory, and quality standards i.e HACCP Coordinate with the QA team to monitor product consistency and sanitation protocols.
• Enforce all workplace safety policies and procedures (OSHA, local regulations).
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards in coordination with EHS teams.
• Ensure environmental compliance and proper waste management.
• Monitor raw material usage, manage stock levels, and coordinate with procurement.
• Liaise with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and shipment of products.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, cost per unit, downtime, and labor efficiency.
• Prepare operational reports and support budgeting and cost control initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5-10 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in canned or preserved foods.
• Strong knowledge of food safety systems and production technologies.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
