Aplications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above-mentioned post which have arisen within Murewa Town Board and Murewa Rural District Council.
The Planning Officer will be Head of Department for the Spatial Planning Department and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
DUTIES
To coordinate and manage the day to day functions of the Spatial Planning Department.
Providing professional advice to the Chief Executive and Council on spatial planning and other administrative matters.
Production of layout plans for business centres in consultation with the Department of Physical.
Planning.
Carrying out Plan approvals Supervision of land surveys.
Pegging of stands at designated areas.
REQUIREMENTS
A Degree in Rural and Urban Planning or equivalent.
Masters in the related field will be an added advantage.
Membership to a recognised Professional Body – Zimbabwe Institute of Regional and Urban Planners.
Distinct computer skills such as AutoCad and GIS.
At least 3 years experience in a Local Authority, Local Government or similar/related environment
A clean class 4 Driver’s Licence.
Police Clearance.
Citizen of Zimbabwe.
At least 30 years.
