This role functions as a subject matter expert in a specific field of administration / product / process. Resolves technical and complex problems especially in support of administrative queries/issues. Applies specialist knowledge in a focused role working with relatively complex information.
Key Result Areas
Maintain and update an on-line database of:
Benefits and payroll information, per job type and grade level accessible (based upon specific user rights) by operating company line managers.
Procedures and guidelines to be followed when submitting payroll inputs.
Templates to be used when submitting inputs and or queries.
Provide supporting information on payroll and benefits to operating line managers as required.
Provide overall oversight of the payroll process for the Group Support Services payrolls.
Responsible for overseeing the vendor’s performance e.g. processing of payroll, and provision of reports and pay slips etc.
Provide second line query resolution support.
Input accurate data for payroll
All deductions’ reconciliations to enable production of all third party RTGSs for the payment Group Support Services payrolls on a monthly basis.
Respond to email queries
Send out payroll reports to the various units on a monthly basis
Prepare sub unit payments.
Sorting out pay slips immediately after they come from the vendor.
Preparation of mortgage applications.
Payment of loans and benefits e.g. study loans.
Sort out documents for filing.
Maintain an accurate share register.
Process dividend payments and the purchase and sale of shares.
Processing of vested shares.
Updating NSSA data-base
Reconciling CIMAS statements
