Job Description
The jobholder will be responsible for providing an advisory link between the payroll vendor and the various line Managers within the Group Operating Companies who will be responsible for generating and sending off the electronic payroll input to the payroll office.
The link will revolve around the provision of advice on benefit levels per job type, and information regarding payroll input requirements.
The incumbent will also provide a second line query resolution support level with regard to the resolution of payroll queries, after the first line support has failed as per the Service Level Agreement with the Payroll Vendor.
The job holder will also be responsible for Staff Shares Portfolio Administration.
Key Result Areas
- Maintaining and updating an on-line database of Benefits and payroll information, Procedures and guidelines to be followed when submitting payroll inputs, Templates to be used when submitting inputs and or queries.
- Providing supporting information on payroll and benefits to operating line managers as required.
- Providing overall oversight of the payroll process for the OMZL payrolls.
- Responsible for overseeing the vendor’s performance e.g. processing of payroll, and provision of reports and pay slips etc.
- Providing second line query resolution support.
- Inputting accurate data for payroll
- All deductions’ reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Responding to email queries
- Sending out payroll reports to the various units on a monthly basis
- Preparation of mortgage applications.
- Payment of loans and benefits e.g. study loans
- Sorting out documents for filing, and general filing.
- Maintaining an accurate share register.
- Processing dividend payments and the purchase and sale of shares.
- Updating NSSA data-base
- Reconciling CIMAS statements
- Leave reconciliation.

Experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience in Payroll/ Benefits administration at supervisory level.
Qualifications
- A Financial Accounting Degree, Business Degree OR An Undergraduate Human Resources Degree.
