PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR
HARARE, ZIMBABWE

Job Overview
Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments.

Responsibilities
1. Run/Manage payroll monthly.
2. Check payroll accuracy and ensure 100% compliance
3. Administration and reconciliation of PAYE, NSSA, ZIMDEF Medical Aid, Pensions NEC and Pension Funds
4. Prepare documentation for release of salaries funds for clients in line with finance department
5. Prepare individual bank extracts
6. Completion and dispatch of Government enquiries
7. Annual tax reconciliation and preparation of Tax Certificates . Generating reports for payments e.g. PAYE returns and other third parties 8

9. Maintain a proper document control system
10. Keep abreast with company policies and tax legislations that impact on remuneration
11. File payroll and statutory reports to the relevant authorities
12. Communicate with clients on their requirements of their payroll
13. Maintain good customer relations
14. Update HR/Finance on changes emanating from statutory bodies.
15. Adhere to Payroll process SOPS

Job Requirements and Skills
A Diploma in Accounting and or Payroll Administration/Human Resources Management.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Must be able to handle large payroll volumes. In depth knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, ProPay, Paywell)
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
A well-presented, good communicator and organized individual.
