Job Description
Are you passionate about startups, innovation, and building vibrant communities? We are looking for a dynamic and organized Partnerships and Community Officer to lead relationship management, community engagement, and operational support within our innovation hub.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees and nurtures relationships with key partner organizations, ensuring service levels and expectations are met.
- Designs and implements strategies to attract new entrepreneurial talent into the Eight2Five community.
- Organizes and participates in events to build community and boost brand awareness.
- Collaborates with the marketing team to develop and execute outreach and communication strategies.
- Plans and implements social media and digital marketing campaigns, tracking and reporting on campaign performance.
- Builds strong relationships with hub members, and potential members.
- Supports stakeholder engagement to strengthen the startup ecosystem.
- Manages hub operations and administrative tasks.
- Monitors and evaluates (M&E) program performance, community engagement, and partnership impact.
- Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless program delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Communications, Development Studies, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in partnerships, community management, or administrative roles.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in digital tools (Google Workspace, social media platforms).
- Experience in event coordination, M&E, and financial tracking is a plus.
- Passion for entrepreneurship and innovation.
