Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions at
the University of Zimbabwe:
NATIONAL TRANSTECH SOLUTIONS (PRIVATE) LIMITED

OFFICE ASSISTANT (1 POST)
The successful candidate will report to the Company Administrator.

Minimum Qualifications

 A minimum of 5 Ordinary level passes; additional certification in office management or
related field is an advantage.
 Previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role is preferred, but not
essential.
 Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
 Basic knowledge of office equipment and software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
 Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour.
 Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute to the overall effectiveness
of the team.
 Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
 A Clean criminal record.

Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
 Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and managing office
documents.
 Assist in the preparation and coordination of meetings, including organizing materials
and ensuring meeting rooms are set up.
 Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate
department or individual.
 Perform office cleaning duties, ensuring the office environment is tidy, organized, and
presentable at all times.
 Manage office supplies, ensuring that necessary items are stocked and available for
daily operations.
 Assist with mail distribution, including sorting, delivering, and dispatching documents, packages, and correspondence within and outside the company.
 Assist with the scheduling of appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff.
 Support the team with other office-related tasks as necessary to ensure efficient office
operations.
 Ensure that all office equipment is in working order, reporting any maintenance issues
promptly.
