A construction company based in Harare is urgently looking for an Office Administrator who is ready to start work
immediately.
JOB TITLE: Office Administrator Job Description
- Managing Phone Calls: Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate departments or personnel, taking messages when necessary
- Scheduling Appointments: Organize and manage appointments for company executives and project managers, ensuring efficient time management.
- Maintaining Office Supplies: Monitor and order office supplies to ensure the front desk and office are well-stocked.
- Handling Correspondence: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages, as well as prepare outgoing correspondence.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of visitors, phone calls, and other relevant information, often using electronic data management systems.
- Assisting with Project Coordination: Support project managers and site supervisors by maintaining schedules, organizing documents, and assisting with logistics as needed.
- Preparing Reports: Compile and prepare reports related to office activities, visitor logs, and other administrative functions.
- Ensuring Safety Compliance: Ensure that visitors are aware of safety protocols and procedures when entering the construction site.
- Maintaining a Clean Reception Area: Keep the reception area tidy and organized to create a welcoming environment.
Skills Required

- Comfortable in high-pressure and fast-paced environment
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Diploma in Secretarial Administration
- A minimum of two years field experience preferably in the construction industry
