About
Zimbabwe Health Interventions (ZHI) is a not-for-profit human development organisation which is registered as a Private Voluntary Organisation (PVO 17/22). ZHI’s mission is to develop and deliver innovative and sustainable high-impact, integrated health interventions to the communities we serve, while working with and strengthening existing institutions.

The Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-free, Mentored, and Safe women (DREAMS)-Reignite Innovate Sustain and Empower (RISE) Program aims to prevent new HIV infections and reduce vulnerability among Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (OVC), OVC caregivers and Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) in Zimbabwe. The DREAMS-RISE program is being implemented in priority high HIV burden districts in Zimbabwe. ZHI’s primary role is to deliver a comprehensive curriculum on HIV prevention, gender norms and social asset building targeted at AGYW in school, out of school and their sexual partners at community level. ZHI’s core thrust in the DREAMS-RISE Program is to keep girls and young women HIV Free through supporting them to; Stay in school; Prevent early pregnancies; Prevent sexual violence; Access Post violence care; Reduce child marriage. DREAMS-RISE program provides a comprehensive, multi-sectoral package of core interventions to address key factors that make girls and young women particularly vulnerable to HIV. These include structural factors, such as gender-based violence, exclusion from economic opportunities, and a lack of access to secondary school. DREAMS-RISE program layers multiple interventions at once so that AGYW are surrounded with critical support to keep them safe from HIV and other risks.

Basic Function
Reporting to the National Strategic Information Evaluation (SIE) Officer, the National Strategic Information Evaluation Assistant is responsible for supporting the implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems for the DREAMS RISE project

Job Description
Support the National SIE Officer in M&E and data management processes at national level; Support in the implementation of all QA/QI processes within the DREAMS project; Support the data management, analysis and quality management-related initiative undertaken by the national SIE team; Support the national SIE team in development, adaptation and tracking utilization of M&E tools; Ensure all relevant project staff can utilize the project database to analyze program information and results with support from the National SIE Officers; Conduct routine administration of the M&E Tools Audit Checklist through the stock management SOP to ensure that all districts have adequate tools in stock; Maintains the DREAMS RISE SIE folder repository on ZHI SharePoint and ensures a proper filing system for both hard and soft copies; Support data visuals and data analytics during presentations development and reporting; Assist with backup and recovery of all databases and their management; Assist with reviewing data entered in all databases to locate and fix problems with data entry or integrity.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Demonstrate knowledge of management information systems such as DHIS2, DATIS, OVC MIS and DATIM; Proficiency in the development of indicators, analysis of data, and interpretation of results in an illustrative and meaningful manner;
Solid knowledge of advanced excel and Microsoft Access, with a working knowledge of another Microsoft Office package;
The ability to interact with all levels in the organization and other stakeholders with diplomacy, and professionalism.

Qualifications And Experience
A degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Health Promotion, Demography, Epidemiology, or any other related field;
At least 1 year of experience in monitoring and evaluation of HIV prevention programs;
Ability to carry out relevant M&E processes, including reporting and target setting.
