Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Africa University (AU), an international Pan – African and United Methodist Church Related Institution in Zimbabwe, through Tuberculosis Implementation Framework Agreement (TIFA)/ John Snow Institute (JSI) has obtained a grant from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The grant supports the National TB and Leprosy Programme (NTLP) to implement activities outlined in the National Strategic Plan of Zimbabwe. Applications are therefore invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. The M&E Officer is required to offer services of monitoring and evaluating the TIFA Project. The Officer is expected to provide a clear view on the Project’s progress towards achieving the goals and objectives set for the project.
Desired Attributes:
Master’s degree in any field of Health Sciences
Registered with any of the health professions councils in Zimbabwe
Either a degree or postgraduate diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and Shona or Ndebele).
Ability to network, interact and influence at policy, provincial, district and facility level.
Excellent computer and word processing skills.
Strong analytical and report writing skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Designing and implementing the M&E tools for the TIFA Project;
2. Preparing Quarterly/ Semester/Annual reports for TIFA Project.
3. Ensuring appropriate reporting systems that are robust whilst maintaining quality data at all times.

5. information is submitted in time and completed in all levels through working with stakeholders and beneficiary communities,
6. Assist the TIFA Project to verify and validate data before submission to the next level.
7. Maintaining data bases for the TIFA Project at all levels of the Project.
8. Monitor the performance of key indicators for all activities in the project.
