Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant (4 months)
Zimbabwe Archdiocese of Harare is a registered Private Voluntary Organisation
(PVO25/2014) which carries out programmes such as relief, livelihoods and developmental-Water and Sanitation and Hygiene among others. Caritas Archdiocese of Harare will be implementing the WFP lean season assistance project in Chikomba District for 4 months and is therefore inviting qualified men and women to apply for the following positions in preparation for the programme implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of food distribution and work in the project according to an agreed plan
  • Undertaking monitoring activities (PDM, Registration and monitoring)
  • Maintain close communication with Field Officers and Clusters in the project implementation Managing SCOPE
  • Report writing, capturing and analysing collected data
  • Maintain an inventory of all SCOPE gadgets and ensure they are kept safely and ready for use during registrations and distributions
  • Any other relevant duties assigned

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • A minimum of a Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation or equivalent. A degree in Monitoring and Evaluation will be an added advantage
  • Experience or knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data collection methods.
  • Experience working with WFP SCOPE data base
  • Computer proficiency
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a teamSystemic personality who pays attention to detail, accuracy
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Minimum 1 year experience in development programmes, preferably working in livelihoods
  • Ability to communicate in English and a local language
  • Good computer skills (especially Excel)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to be field based and work in a rural environment
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Experience with WFP food distribution projects
  • Must have experience working in an NGO setting
