Job Description
The Mobile Teller is responsible for facilitating onsite deposits and withdrawals through the use of CIT vehicles, ensuring efficient mobile banking services. This role requires strong cash handling skills to guarantee the security of funds and compliance with AML regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform onsite cash deposits and withdrawals using CIT vehicles.
- Handle cash securely and efficiently, ensuring no loss or theft occurs.
- Maintain compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations through proper training and awareness.
- Capture and enter transaction data accurately into the core banking system.
- File and organize all relevant documentation pertaining to transactions.
- Prepare daily reports summarizing cash transactions and activities.
- Reconcile cash to the bank statement, ensuring all accounts balance before end-of-day closing.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless mobile banking operations.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
Experience
- At least 1 year banking experience for teller.
Qualifications
- A relevant diploma (commercial diploma and degree an added advantage).
Skills Required
- Strong cash handling experience and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of banking operations and cash management processes.
- Proficiency in using banking software and core banking systems.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Employment: 6 months contract
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe
Remuneration: Negotiable which will be discussed with the successful candidate.
