Job Summary:
We are a mining company mainly focusing on exploration, loading and hauling. We are seeking an experienced Mining Engineer to join our team who will be located in Hwange.We’re looking for a highly skilled Mining Engineer responsible for designing, planning, and assist overseeing mining operations, ensuring safe and efficient extraction of minerals.The candidate must be flexible and able to relocate to various sites when need arises.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mine plans, layouts, and infrastructure.
- Conduct geological and geotechnical analyses.
- Develop and implement mining methods and procedures.
- Carrying out monthly report with actual production data and giving feedback to geology and processing team.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (geology, production, maintenance).
- Optimize mine production, costs, and resource utilization.
- Monitor and report on mine performance, safety, and environmental impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mining engineering, operations, or consulting.
- Strong knowledge of mining software (AutoCAD a must).
- 5 years continuous in surface mining.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to speak Chinese is an added advantage.
