Job Summary:
An emerging mining company seeks an experienced, hands-on Mine Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall operations of the mine ensuring safe, efficient and profitable extraction of minerals
  • Supervise on-site personnel.
  • Liase with regulatory bodies and ensure legal compliance.
  • Monitor equipment usage and coordinate maintenance needs.
  • Enforce strict safety, health and environmental compliance.
  • Report operational performance to senior management.

Candidate Specifications:

  • 5 ‘O’ levels, including Mathematics and English
  • Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering or any other related field .
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the Mining Industry of which 5 years must be at Senior level.
  • Holder of a clean Class 2 or 4 Driver’s License.
  • Holder of Full Blasting License (FBL)
  • Holder of NEC Mining Certificate of Learnership.
  • Proficiency in specific software tools used in mining (CAD and simulation tools)
  • Must have extensive knowledge in the mining of gold, shaft timbering, shaft opening and mineral processing.
  • Physical stamina
  • Reliable, ability to make strategic decisions, prioritize tasks and manage risks

Terms & Conditions:
1. Employment: Full Time
2. Remuneration: Negotiable (expected salary must be stated in the application)
