Position: Millwright x1
Location: Sunway city, Harare
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly under the Maintenance Manager to oversee the repairs and maintenance of bed-making machines and conveyor systems.
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, including gears, bearings, and conveyor belts.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to improve machine efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machinery status.
Qualifications:
- Relevant certification or diploma in Millwright, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in machinery maintenance, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.
