Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions at the
University of Zimbabwe:
MEDIC X 1
Qualifications and Work Experience
Possession of a Medic Qualification
Basic First Aid Certificate is an added advantage
Ordinary level qualification
Relevant work experience
Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate must fulfil the requirements below:
Providing immediate medical response and care in emergency situations
Assessing injuries and illnesses, and providing basic life support
Administering first aid, including wound cleaning and dressing
Stabilizing injuries, such as fractures or sprains
Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records
Reporting incidents and injuries to site management and regulatory authorities
Completing medical incident reports and submitting them to the relevant authorities
Maintaining medical certification and training
Participating in continuing education and professional development
Staying up-to-date with changes in medical procedures and protocols
