Person Specification
- The ability to multitask.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work after normal working hours.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience
- Artisan Class 1 Motor Mechanics
- At least two years work experience on different small engines (e.g. brush cutters, lawn mowers, motor bikes)
- Experience in a tertiary institution would be an added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspecting on a regular or daily basis the condition/status of all University small engines machines.
- Maintaining, repairing and servicing small engines machines.
- Sourcing and recommending the purchase of suitable spares.
- Maintaining relevant records for the running and maintenance of all small engines
- machines.
- Checking on the work done on University small engines machines whenever external service providers do the repairs.
- Contributing to the success of the Central Services and Amenities Department by performing all other essential duties as assigned.
