Marketing & Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Marketing & Sales Specialist with 3+ years of proven experience to join our team in Harare. This role is crucial for developing and executing impactful marketing strategies, generating leads, driving sales, and building strong, lasting customer relationships

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategize & Execute Marketing Campaigns: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with our business goals. This includes managing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across various channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing) to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Create Compelling Content: Generate persuasive and informative marketing content, including website copy, brochures, presentations, case studies, blog posts, and engaging social media updates, ensuring our brand message is consistent and impactful.
  • Manage Events & Partnerships: Coordinate and execute successful marketing events, webinars, and potentially local trade shows or exhibitions to promote our offerings and connect with our target audience.
  • Drive Sales & Revenue Growth: Identify and target new business opportunities, conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, and develop compelling sales proposals. You’ll lead negotiations, close deals, and consistently achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Cultivate Customer Relationships: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering repeat business and loyalty.
  • Analyze & Report Performance: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities. You’ll also prepare regular sales and marketing reports, analyze performance data, and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Leverage Technology: Effectively manage and maintain our CRM and marketing automation platforms to streamline processes and enhance customer interactions.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, operations, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer journey and unified brand experience.
  • Represent Our Brand: Professionally represent the company at all times, upholding our values and enhancing our reputation in the market.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of progressive, hands-on experience in a dedicated marketing and/or sales role with a proven track record of success.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Proven Results: Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and execute successful, impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Digital Marketing Savvy: A strong understanding of digital marketing principles and proficiency with relevant tools such as Google Analytics and Pixel
  • Communication Mastery: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity and comfort with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Independence & Teamwork: The ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative member of a fast-paced team.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Drive & Attitude: A highly results-oriented individual with a proactive, positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
