Marketing Assistant
Location: St Giles Medical Rehabilitation Centre, Harare, Zimbabwe
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns, identifying and securing funding opportunities, building relationships with stakeholders, and promoting the Centre’s services and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project proposals and concept papers for potential donors
- Identify and maintain a list of local and foreign donors
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns
- Build and maintain relationships with media representatives, partners, and stakeholders
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on marketing activities
- Coordinate fundraising events, exhibitions, and trade shows
- Create engaging content for social media platforms
- Manage and maintain the Centre’s website and social media presence
- Design and produce marketing materials
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team
- Compile newsletters and assist with other tasks within the department
Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in fundraising and marketing is an added advantage
