Logistics Officer (Harare, Zimbabwe)
DUTIES
- Prepare plans for purchasing of ra’0e material, services, equipment and supplies
- Research and evaluate prospective suppliers
- Represent the Company in all customs-clearing processes
- Ensure duty and rebate payments, exemptions and permits are followed through on behalf of the company
- Responsible for materials shipping and delivery successfully on site.
- Monitor supply chain operations
Qualifications and experience
- Degree in Procurement/Logistics or Business-related qualification.
- CILT/CIPS and customs clearing are a great advantage
- Experience in the pharmaceuticals industry is desirable.
- Experience working with an ERP system is a strong requirement
- Clean class 2/4 drivers licence
- Minimum of 4 years in a similar position
- Good negotiation and communication skills
