Job Summary:

A small Logistics firm, also encompassing farming and mining operations, is seeking an experienced and strategic Logistics Manager to lead and coordinate logistics operations .The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient , cost-effective and timely movement of goods while managing fleet teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Efficiently managing all costs of transportation services and inventory transportation within the approved distribution strategy.
Ensuring company compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation.
Planning routes and load scheduling for all transportation activities for the organization.
Manage third-party party logistics relationships and contracts.
Sourcing loads, securing contracts and diligently minimizing costs.
Superintending drivers, mechanics and support staff.

Candidate Specifications :

5 ‘O’ levels passes including Mathematics and English.
Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or any other related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in logistics or distribution , with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Holder of a clean class 4 or 2 driver’s license.
Holder of a valid passport.
Proficiency with logistics software and fleet management systems.
Strong problem -solving and analytical skills.
