A local faith based Non-Governmental Organization involved in development, advocacy and humanitarian
work seeks to fill the following vacant position:

Job Title: Logistic Assistant x 1

Purpose of the position

The incumbent will be responsible for providing logistical support to program operations

Responsibilities:

• Conduct clerical, warehousing and housekeeping support.
• Supervise movement and transportation of goods, equipment and materials for the project.
• Work with suppliers in sourcing quotation and procurement of project materials and equipment.
• Ensure that project vehicles are serviced and maintained on regular bases and that they have full equipment required for travelling.
• Ensure that staff are provided with materials and resources they require to perform their duties
• Transport staff and project materials
• Conduct other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Desired Qualifications, technical skills and experience

• Degree in Purchase and Supply and Project Logistics or any other related field
• At least 2 years traceable work experience
• Good computer skills
• Committed to the humanitarian principles and code of conduct
