We are seeking a dynamic and experienced loan officer to join our Harare branch. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Small Medium Enterprises (SME) lending and a passion for supporting local businesses.
OPEN POSITION
Position: Loans Officer X 2
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive SME lending business by developing and maintaining relationships with clients.
- Utilize business development skills to identify and engage potential SME clients.
- Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the lending process.
- Conduct thorough credit appraisals and manage loan portfolios effectively.
- Enforce a 100% collection rate by implementing effective repayment strategies.
- Retain clients through exceptional service and support.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in SME lending and business development.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to lending challenges faced by SME clients.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Shona or Ndebele.
- A degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Studies, or any other related field.
