Key Responsibility
- Customer engagement and market visits to solicit for business
- Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
- Evaluate risk profile and credit worthiness for clients
- Communicate with clients potential and existing clients to build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfactions
- Justify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report on them
- Institute sound collection and debt recovery measures
- Reporting
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience as a Loan Officer
- Familiarity with computers and loan applications/software
- Solid understanding of lending products and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer satisfaction orientation and sales competencies
- Ability to work in a goal-oriented environment
- Degree in business, finance, marketing or equivalent or a related field
