The job is full time staying & working in “DEEP RURAL” areas (Murehwa, Mutoko, Mt Darwin, Chiweshe, Rusape, Mutare).
Qualifications
5 O Levels including Mathematics and English
Social Science Degree, Agriculture Related Degree
ZERO Work Experience or First Time Job
Job Description
o The loans and training trainee is the primary point of contact with all clients in our Murehwa, Mutoko, Mt Darwin, Chiweshe Branches. The loan officer is a problem solver, providing appropriate credit services and business training to assist low income women to solve their own problems. As such, the loan officer markets loans products, assist clients to determine credit needs, trains clients in business skills and financial literacy, manages the application and approval process, insures prompt delivery and repayment of loans and provides periodic portfolio information.
o Conduct survey and determine credit need within area of assignment
o Initiate client contact
o Meet with clients to determine credit needs and business viability
o Train clients in financial literacy, business skills and group dynamics
o Facilitate clients savings at village level
o Assist clients with applications, including visits to clients businesses and homes, completion of financial
analysis forms, collection of baseline data
o Analyse loan applications and make recommendations to credit committee
o Disburse funds, obtain signature on contract, verify business conditions and formalise relationship
o Ensure prompt repayments
o Collect relevant data and submit timely and accurate reports
o Conduct fortnightly centre meetings with all clients
o Visit clients periodically to build a relationship of mutual trust and assess future credit and training needs. Provide financial counselling as needed.
o Solicit, respond to and resolve customer complaints. Document all complaints and suggestions.
