Job Title : Liquor Undertaking Supervisor
Grade : 9
Reporting To : Deputy Director of Housing and Social Services
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 “O” levels including English and Mathematics.
Diploma / Degree in Sales and Marketing or other relevant qualifications.
3 years working experience in the Hotel and Catering Industry as a Supervisor or relevant field.
Knowledge of Local Authority systems.
A trouble shooter / game charger who can work 24 hours without supervision.
Knowledge of the liquor industry is an added advantage.
Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting.
Ability to prepare cash flow statements.
Computer literacy is a must.
Must have a driver’s licence.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
Supervise all staff in the liquor section.
Ensure that all outlets are operating at maximum profits.
Setting performance targets for all subordinates.
Institute internal control systems, e.g. procedures, stock control, etc
Provide in house training and guidance to staff on customer care and public relations.
Providing monthly performance reports.
Ensure that all liquor outlets are kept clean and in a pleasant and home drinking environment.
Prepare and control annual budgets.
