POST A – PURE MATHEMATICS (2 POSTS)

Applicants must have a minimum qualification of an MSc Degree in Pure Mathematics. The
successful candidate will be expected to teach a wide variety of courses on the BSc (Honours) in
Applied Mathematics Programme and any two of the following courses in MSc in Applied
Mathematical Modelling Programme, Functional Analysis, Variational Calculus and Numerical
Methods for differential equations. Teaching experience in any of the above areas, a PhD in any of the
above fields and record of publishing are added advantages.

POST B – FINANCIAL MATHEMATICS (I POST)

Applicants must have a minimum qualification of an MSc Degree in Financial Mathematics,
Mathematics of Finance or Statistics. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a wide
variety of courses on the BSc (Honours) in Applied Mathematics Programme and any two of the
following courses in MSc in Applied Mathematical Modelling Programme, Financial mathematics,
Forecasting and Stochastic differential equations. Teaching experience in any of the above areas, a
PhD in any of the above fields and record of publishing are added advantages

POST C – APPLIED MATHEMATICS (1 POST)\

Applicants must have a minimum qualification of an MSc Degree in Applied Mathematics. The
successful candidate will be expected to teach a wide variety of courses on the BSc (Honours) in
Applied Mathematics Programme and any two of the following courses in MSc in Applied
Mathematical Modelling Programme, Advanced Dynamical Systems, Mathematical Epidemiology
and Introduction to Mathematical Modelling. Teaching experience in any of the above areas, a PhD in
any of the above fields and record of publishing are added advantages.
