POST A
Applicants must have a BEng or BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Chemical/Process Engineering, MEng or
MSc in Chemical and Environmental Process Engineering or a PhD in Chemical Engineering/ related.
Candidate should also have proven relevant industry and lecturing experience (at least 3 years in each
aspect). Evidence of scholarly contribution is required in the form of at least two (2) peer reviewed
journal articles.
Experience in Numerical Simulation of multi-phase systems is required as the incumbent is expected
to teach Computational Modelling and Simulation as well as assisting in supervising projects even at
Master’s level.
POST B
Applicants must have a BEng or BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Chemical/Process Engineering, MEng or
MSc in Chemical and Environmental Process Engineering. Holding or being currently registered for a
PhD in Chemical Engineering/ Process Engineering is an added advantage. Candidate should also
have proven relevant industry and lecturing experience.
Experience in Water Sanitation and Health and Simulation in Biodigestion is required as the
incumbent is expected to teach Environmental engineering courses as well as assisting in supervising
related projects.
