NB: The duties and responsibilities of a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor and Professor are categorized into 5 pillars of Education 5.0 as follows:

a) Teaching
The incumbent is expected to teach or deliver lectures in accordance to the Department and or Faculty guidelines and standards.
b) Research
The incumbent is expected to engage in active research in his/her area of specialization which benefits both the students and the University.
c) Community and University Service
The incumbent should participate in all Department, Faculty/School and University activities such as attending meetings, training workshops, conferences and seminars, among others. In addition, should also champion and participate in community development initiatives and activities.
d) Innovations
Innovations should lead to production of goods and services.
e) Industrialisation
Through commercialisation of goods and services.

FACULTY OF AGRIBUSINESS
1. DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/ Professor (2 Posts)

Qualifications & Experience
BCom Accounting/Auditing or equivalent with at least a 2.1 degree class.
MCom Accounting/Auditing or equivalent.
Membership with an accounting professional board is an added advantage.
A tertiary teaching qualification and relevant experience is a further added advantage.
A relevant PhD is a distinct advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities
The candidate must be able to carry out research, supervise students’ dissertations and teach the following modules;
Advanced Financial Reporting,
Advanced Auditing.

2. DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/ Professor (1 Post)

Qualifications & Experience
BCom Travel, Leisure and Recreation or equivalent with at least a 2.1 degree class.
MCom Tourism and Hospitality Management or equivalent.
A tertiary teaching qualification is an added advantage.
A qualification in either transport logistics or IATA certification an added advantage.
A relevant PhD is a distinct advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities
The candidate must be capable of supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate students’ research work, assess students on Work Related Learning and teach at least four (4) of the following modules;
Tourism Transport Logistics,
Global Distribution Systems,
MICE Management,
Hospitality and Tourism Innovation Project,
Digital Tourism and Hospitality Marketing, and
Sustainable Tourism Management.
