Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education and or equivalent from a recognised institution;
A Ph.D. in Mathematics Education, a proven track record of research publication in refereed journals and at least two (2) years of University teaching experience are definite advantages;
Applicants studying towards a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education would also be considered for the post.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate shall be expected to:
Teach Mathematics Education courses at Undergraduate and Post Graduate levels;
Contribute to the achievement of the University mandate through University teaching, research, community engagement, innovation and industrialization;
Supervise projects and dissertations at all levels;
Assess and supervise students on Teaching Practice and carry out extension work.
