Person Specification
The ideal candidate should have at least a Masters degree in Marketing/E-Commerce/Digital Marketing, or other equivalent and an undergraduate degree in Marketing/E-Commerce/Digital Marketing or other equivalent. An earned PhD is a distinct advantage. The successful candidate would be required to teach any three (3) of the following undergraduate level courses:-
Digital Marketing
Marketing Analysis and Metrics
Marketing Information Systems
Technology and Innovation in Marketing
Duties
Please note that the duties and responsibilities of a Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor and Professor are grouped in three categories which are:
Teaching-the incumbent is expected to teach or deliver lectures in accordance to the Department and or School guidelines and standards.
Community and University Services-the incumbent should participate in all Department, School and University activities such as attending meetings, training workshops, conference and seminars, among others.
Research-the incumbent is expected to engage in active research in his/her area of specialization which benefits both the students and the University through publications.
Innovation- the incumbent is expected to come up with innovative ideas through research.
Industrialisation- the incumbent should be able to come up with innovations that can be commercialised and enhance industrialisation.
