Qualifications and Experience
- Applicants should have a business-related Master’s degree with a qualification of at least a Credit or higher;
- Applicants should have an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Accounting passed with at least an Upper Second (2.1) degree class;
- Applicants must have verifiable tertiary teaching experience and industry experience. Preference will be given to those who are members of professional accounting bodies;
- A PhD in a business-related field would be an added advantage;
- A proven record of publications would be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Applicants must be able to teach accounting courses at the Postgraduate level;
- Supervise student research at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels;
- Publish in peer-reviewed journals, seek and obtain external funding;
- The candidate should contribute to the University’s mandate through teaching, research, community engagement, innovation and industrialization.
