4.2. Department of Accounting
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/ Full Professor (3 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience
• 5 ‘O’ Levels including English and Mathematics
• BCom (Honours) Degree in Accounting/ Accounting and Finance
• Masters Degree in Accounting/ Accounting and Finance.
• For the post of Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor and Professor, a PhD in Accounting and at least 3 publications is a must.
• At least one (1) year teaching experience in an institution of higher education.
• For a lecturer, evidence of research publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
• The candidate should be able to teach any three of the following modules: Financial Accounting 1& 2, Audit Skills, Audit Process, Advanced Auditing, Corporate Finance 1& 2, Financial Reporting, Advanced Financial Accounting, Taxation and Management & Cost Accounting.
• The candidate is expected to actively engage in research and innovation activities.
• Contribute significantly to the teaching, research, curriculum development, innovation, and industrialization activities.
• Participate in community outreach activities.
• Participate in University income-generating projects.
• Supervise students’ research projects.
• Participate in the invigilation of examinations
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/ Full Professor (1 Post)
Qualifications and Experience
• 5 ‘O’ Levels including English and Mathematics
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law
• Master’s Degree in Law/ Masters of Laws in Commercial Law/ Masters of Law in Company Law and Corporate Governance/ Masters of Law In Corporate Law.
• A PhD in this field is an added advantage.
• Having lecturing experience at a tertiary institution level with a clear record of successful research, publications, and supervision of students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels is an added advantage.

• The candidate must be able to teach the following modules: Business Law, Commercial Law, Company Law, and Corporate Governance Contribute significantly to the teaching, research, curriculum development, innovation, and industrialization activities.
