Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following post at Masvingo Polytechnic College
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor of Science in Food Science or Applied Biology and Biochemistry/Biotechnology or a closely related field
- A master’s degree in Post Harvest Technology or Food Science or related field.
- At least two years of working experience in the relevant field.
- At least 3 publications in referred journals/books.
- A qualification in Project Management will be an added advantage.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- To deliver in core areas of Food Microbiology. Analytical and Organic Chemistry, Flavour Technology and Food Additives, Food Science and Technology modules
- Develop & mentor student-led research projects with tangible industry/societal impact
- Foster entrepreneurship by guiding students in product innovation, startup ideation & commercialization strategies
