Glenrise Investments (Pvt) Ltd seeks to recruit a dynamic and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing daily operations on site, ensuring all survey projects are completed on time to the highest standard.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conducting land surveys, establishing of reference point, benchmarks and grid lines for construction
projects.
2. Knowledge of using GPS, Total station and other surveying equipment.
3. Interpreting engineering and architectural drawings to provide accurate site measurements.
4. Setting out, marking boundaries, levels and alignments for roads, dams and infrastructure.
5. Preparing and maintain survey reports, maps, and legal descriptions for project documentation.
6. Monitor and adjust surveying instruments for precise and reliable measurements.
7. Conduct as-built surveys and provide feedback on project progress and deviations.
8. Collaborating with engineers, contractors and project managers to ensure accurate implementation of
design.
9. Perform topographical, and hydrographic, surveys as required.
10. Ensuring compliance with local land regulations, health and safety standard.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Diploma in Land Surveying
2. Proficient in surveying software (AutoCAD, civil 3D, GIS)
3. 10 years proven experience within the construction industry
4. Proven track record of project implementation and management
Skills and Competencies
1. Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
2. Excellent knowledge of earth dams, road construction, and structural projects.
3. Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams
and stakeholders.
6. Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in project management.
