Laboratory Technician (1 Post)
Qualifications and experience
- State certified medical laboratory technician (Certificate \ Diploma)
- 5 O levels including Mathematics and English
- At least 2 years work experience in a similar environment
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receiving of clinical specimens into the laboratory and registering them in the Laboratory Information System
- Implement ISO 15189 quality management system requirements for attainment of accreditation
- Safely draw blood and collect swab specimens from patients on and off site.
- Prepare and analyse clinical specimens for in Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Microbiology, Molecular Diagnostics and Histopathology under the supervision of medical laboratory scientists
- Any other duties as determined by supervisor.
