DEPARTMENT OF AGRONOMY AND HORTICULTURE
Qualifications
• Diploma in Laboratory Science Technology/Microbiology/Biotechnology
• HND is an added advantage
• Relevant work experience in relevant field
• Practical skills in molecular biology techniques such as PCR and DNA gel is an added advantage

Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct crop protection laboratory practicalsfor undergraduate and postgraduate students
• Maintenance of laboratory equipment,
• Maintaining laboratory supplies and stocks
• Collecting and isolating plant pathogens from diseased plant material
• Handling and rearing of insects
• Management of crop protection experiments
• Any other work-related duties assigned by the Department.
