KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER for a Harare-based company in the ICT industry
Duties and responsibilities
- a) Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition.
- b) Acquires a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
- c) Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
- d) Generates new sales that will turn into lasting profitable relationships.
- e) Onboard existing and new clients onto service-level agreements.
- g) Respondsto and resolve any issues and challenges faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
- h) Prepares regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
- i) Writes business plans for all current and opportunity tender businesses.
- j) Researches competitors’ products and services and comes up with recommendations.
Qualifications
- Presales/ Sales Background
- Degree in Marketing, IMM, CIM or ICT
- 3 years experience in selling ICT solutions
- ICT Product certificates will be an added advantage
- Clean Class 4 driver’s license
